AI Image Generator Guide

Create brand-ready images from text, or edit an uploaded image, using templates and multiple AI models with ContentPod's AI Image Generator.

Quick start: Create a new image

1. Open the tool: Go to AI Tools → AI Image Generator
2. Choose: "Create a new image"
3. Start with a template (recommended) — or write a free-form prompt
4. Fill in a few fields (subject, background, style)
5. Click Generate Image

Quick start: Edit an uploaded image

1. Choose: "Edit an uploaded image"
2. Upload your image (required)
3. Pick an edit template:
   • Background replacement — keep the subject, change the background
   • Object removal — clean up unwanted elements
   • Object replacement — swap one item for another
   • Style transfer — keep content, change artistic style
4. Fill in the requested fields and click Generate Image

Note: Editing an uploaded image uses the ChatGPT Image model to keep edits controlled and preserve identity.

Create templates (text-to-image)

Seven templates help you get great results without prompt-engineering expertise:

1. Photorealistic scene — lifelike photos with lighting and composition guidance
2. Product photography (studio) — clean product shots with professional lighting
3. Stylized illustration — artistic, illustrative images
4. Character consistency (sheet) — consistent character across poses
5. Comic / story panel — graphic-novel-style frames
6. UI / app mockup — interface design previews
7. Brand mark (symbol only) — icon or symbol for branding

Pick a template, fill in the fields, click "Use preset" to build the full prompt, then optionally fine-tune before generating.

Make it better (Prompt Helper)

Not sure what to write? Click "Make it better" to enhance your prompt:

• Adds helpful detail (lighting, composition, mood)
• Adds clear constraints ("no logos", "no watermark")
• Keeps your original intent intact

For edit prompts, describe what should change and what must be preserved (identity, pose, core subject).

Beginner prompt formula

Subject + Background + Style + Lighting + Composition + (Optional) Avoid

Photo example: "A founder headshot in a modern office, soft window light, natural skin tones, 35 mm lens, eye-level framing, clean background, no text, no logos"

Illustration example: "A friendly cartoon rocket launching over a city skyline, flat illustration style, bold shapes, limited palette, clean silhouette, no text"

Save to Content Hub

After generating, click Save to Content Hub to keep images organized and reusable across your projects.

Troubleshooting

The image isn't what I expected

• Use a template and fill in the missing fields (especially background/environment)
• Be specific about what the subject is and where it is
• Add an "Avoid" constraint: "no text", "no logos", "no watermark"

My edit changed the subject (wrong person/object)

• Use an edit template (Background replacement or Object removal)
• Add a keep rule: "keep the same person" / "preserve identity"
• Describe the new background in simple, concrete terms

Text in the image looks wrong

• If you need text, keep it short and put it in quotes
• Otherwise add: "no text"

Usage and safety notes

• Avoid copyrighted characters, trademarked logos, or private individuals without permission
• Review the policies for your chosen model/provider and your intended use case
