How to Use AI Interview

AI Interview is ContentPod's flagship feature that transforms your expertise into professional content through a conversational AI interview.

What is AI Interview?

AI Interview simulates a professional interview where our AI asks you targeted questions about your chosen topic. You respond via voice, your responses are transcribed in real-time, and then transformed into multiple content formats — blog posts, social media captions, video scripts, and more.

Step 1: Start a new interview

1. Log into your ContentPod dashboard
2. On Home, choose Speak and start a new interview
3. The setup panel shows your topic, style, and template options in one place

Step 2: Choose your topic

You'll be prompted to:

• Enter your topic: Be specific (e.g., "How to create an effective content marketing strategy")
• Select a style: Warm & Friendly, Professional, Casual, Expert Coach, or Investigative
• Pick a template (optional): Founder Story, Product Launch, and Industry Insights are highlighted, and the full catalog is one click away
• Mind the length limit: Starter interviews run up to 15 minutes; Creator, Pro, and Team up to 30 minutes

Step 3: Complete the interview

Voice Interview (Recommended):

• Click the microphone icon to start
• Answer each question naturally, as if speaking to a colleague
• Take your time — pauses are okay
• Speak clearly and at a moderate pace

Tips for great responses:

• ✅ Provide specific examples
• ✅ Share personal experiences
• ✅ Explain the "why" behind your advice
• ✅ Use numbers and data when possible
• ❌ Don't give one-word answers
• ❌ Don't go off-topic

Step 4: Review and edit transcript

After completing the interview:

1. Review the AI-generated transcript
2. Edit any misheard words or unclear statements
3. Add clarifications if needed
4. Save the transcript when you're happy with it

Step 5: Generate content

Once your transcript is approved:

1. Use the next-step options shown after the interview, or open Interview Transformer
2. Select which formats you want:
   • Blog Post
   • LinkedIn Post
   • X (Twitter) Post
   • Email Newsletter
   • Video Script
   • And more!
3. Click "Generate" for each format
4. Content is created in seconds

Step 6: Use your content

For each generated piece:

• Copy: Click the copy icon to paste into your CMS
• Download: Save as .txt file
• Edit: Use AI Refine to polish
• Save: Find it later in your Content Library

Troubleshooting

Microphone not working?

• Check browser permissions (Settings → Privacy → Microphone)
• Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
• Ensure no other app is using your microphone

Transcript has errors?

• Edit the transcript before generating content
• Speak more slowly next time
• Reduce background noise

Content quality issues?

• Provide more detailed interview responses
• Use AI Refine to improve tone and clarity
• Run the SEO Analyzer on blog posts before publishing
