How much does AI content generation cost?
AI content generation cost depends on the tool, the model tier, and how much output you produce. Pricing is commonly based on subscriptions, usage credits, or per-generation fees, with higher-quality media generation typically costing more compute. Do I need technical skills to use AI content tools?
Most AI content tools are designed for non-technical users, but good results still require clear writing and basic editing skills. The key skill is prompt clarity: stating goals, audience, constraints, and examples. For teams, consistent templates and a review checklist help more than deep technical knowledge. If workflows involve uploads, automation, or integrations, some technical support can help.
What plans does ContentPod offer?
There are four plans. Starter is $9.99/month with 50 credits and interviews up to 15 minutes. Creator is $29.99/month with 200 credits, Pro is $99.99/month with 800 credits, and Team is $249.99/month for 5 seats with 2,000 shared credits. Creator, Pro, and Team allow interviews up to 30 minutes and include commercial usage rights. Annual billing saves 25%.
Is there a free trial?
Starter and Creator include a 7-day free trial on monthly billing, and you won't be charged until it ends. A credit or debit card is required: prepaid cards aren't accepted, and the card's issuing country must match your billing address. Trials are limited to one per card and one per account. Annual plans, Pro, and Team are billed right away.
Is there a free plan?
New accounts start on a paid plan, so there is no free plan to sign up for. You can try a few sample tools without an account, including the Infographic Generator, Article Writer, and Logo Generator samples, and Starter and Creator come with a 7-day free trial on monthly billing.
How many credits does each tool use?
Caption Writer costs 1 credit per platform you select. Short and medium articles, FAQs, emails, and video scripts cost 1 credit. Long articles (1,500 to 2,000 words), guides, and podcast scripts cost 2. Two-Way Interview costs 10 credits when you save it. AI interviews cost 5, 10, or 20 credits for up to 5, 15, or 30 minutes. Images cost 1 to 3 credits depending on the model. Video costs 4 to 46 credits depending on the model and length. Product Studio photos and Ad Creator image ads cost 2 credits each (4 in HD). AI Refine, SEO Analyzer, Brand Library uploads, and the Content Calendar cost no credits.
What happens if I run out of credits?
Your credits refill at the start of each billing period. If you need more before then, buy an add-on pack of 50, 150, 400, or 1,000 credits from your billing page, or upgrade your plan. Add-on credits never expire, and higher plans pay less per credit.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Every plan comes with a 30-day money-back guarantee: a full refund, no questions asked. You can also cancel at any time from your billing settings and keep access until the end of the current billing period.
Did the monthly credit amounts change?
Yes. In April 2026 every paid plan doubled its monthly credits at the same price. Starter now includes 50, Creator 200, Pro 800, and Team 2,000 shared credits a month. Older pages that mention 25, 100, 400, or 1,000 credits are out of date.
What affects cost most
- Volume: more generations and longer outputs increase usage.
- Media type: images and video generally cost more compute than text. In ContentPod, writing costs 1 to 2 credits, images 1 to 3, and video 4 to 46.
- Iteration: generating many variants can be helpful, but adds cost.
- Review time: editing and fact-checking are part of the real total cost.
