Brand Library Guide

Upload and manage your reference documents with ContentPod's Brand Library. Your files provide context to every AI content tool so generated output is more accurate, specific, and on-brand.

Quick start

1. Open the tool: Go to Brand Library and open the Documents tab. The other tabs hold Guidelines & examples and Brand Kits
2. Upload files: Click to browse — select one or more files
3. Organize: Tag and name documents for easy retrieval
4. Use everywhere: Your documents appear as context options in the Article Writer, Caption Writer, FAQ Builder, and other tools

Supported file types

Maximum file size: 25 MB per file. Upload multiple files at once.

What the Brand Library does

Primary purpose — AI context: Your uploaded documents serve as reference material for ContentPod's AI tools. When you pick a document as the source or context in a generator, the AI reads your files and uses them to produce more accurate, specific content.

On-demand analysis (optional, 1 credit): Click the 🔍 analyze button on any document to generate:

• Summary of the document
• Key topics identified
• Main takeaways
• Content type detection
• Suggested use cases

Analysis is per-document and on-demand — it is not automatic.

How to use documents across ContentPod

In the Article Writer

1. Open the Article Writer
2. In the source selector, choose an uploaded document
3. Select relevant files (product specs, research, notes)
4. Generate — the AI will reference your documents for accuracy

In the Caption Writer

1. Open the Caption Writer
2. Choose a document in the source selector
3. Select brand guidelines or campaign briefs

In the FAQ Builder

1. Open the FAQ Builder
2. Add product documentation as context
3. Generated FAQs will reflect your actual product details

This same pattern works in the Guide Writer, Email Composer, and AI Refine.

Brand Kits and approved examples

On Creator, Pro, and Team, the Brand Kits tab saves your logos, colors, products, and brand voice. Ad Creator and Product Studio use them, and on the Team plan every member shares them. In Guidelines & examples, you can promote documents, images, or personas you've already made as approved examples, so the AI can see what good looks like.

You can also open, preview, and download any document you've uploaded.

Managing your library

Search: Use the search bar to find documents by name or tag.

Tag documents: Add tags for easy organization by topic, project, or type.

Delete: Remove documents you no longer need.

Preparing documents

• ✅ Remove confidential or sensitive information before uploading
• ✅ Ensure text is selectable (not scanned images without OCR)
• ✅ Name files clearly (e.g., "Product_Features_v3.pdf")
• ✅ Keep documents focused on a single topic where possible

Organizing your library

• By topic: Marketing, Sales, Product, Support
• By type: Research, Specs, Brand Guidelines
• By project: Campaign name, product launch, quarter
• Update regularly: Replace outdated docs with current versions

Privacy and security

• ✅ Your documents are private and not used to train AI models
• ✅ Encrypted storage with secure file handling
• ✅ Only you (and your team members) can see your uploads
• ✅ Delete anytime — files are permanently removed

Best practice: Don't upload files containing passwords, API keys, or highly sensitive PII.

The Brand Library works best as a foundational step. Upload your reference materials first, then every tool in ContentPod can leverage them:

1. Upload docs to the Brand Library ← you are here
2. Create a Persona with the Persona Generator
3. Generate content with Article Writer, FAQ Builder, or Guide Writer
4. Refine with AI Refine
5. Optimize with SEO Analyzer

Troubleshooting

Upload failed?

• Check file is .txt, .md, .pdf, .doc, or .docx
• Verify file is under 25 MB
• Ensure the file isn't corrupted — try a different format

Analysis not what you expected?

• Document may contain mostly images (use OCR first)
• Try a simpler format like .txt
• Analysis is AI-generated; use it as a starting point

Can't find an uploaded document?

• Use the search bar to search by name or tag
• Verify the upload completed (check for the document in the list)
